A longtime Valley resident, Shawna graduated from Boardman High School and then went on to attend Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. In 2002, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Advertising degree from The University of Akron, which is ranked as one of the best undergraduate business schools in the nation by both Businessweek and U.S. News and World Report. Her additional education includes MBA courses at John Carroll University and Ohio Real Estate Salesperson license courses at Youngstown State University.

Shawna is currently employed full time for The Vindicator as a Retail Sales Executive, handling print and digital advertising in Mahoning,  Trumbull, Ashtabula, Portage, and Geauga counties.

Prior to The Vindicator, Shawna was Director of Real Estate at DRB Properties where she managed 50 residential, commercial, and industrial properties.  In addition, Shawna worked in commercial real estate leasing at Kimco Realty Corporation and as a Resident/Property Manager for Simco Management Corporation.

Shawna currently resides in Columbiana County with her husband and  two beautiful children, Dominic and Juliana, who are full of life and great pranksters. “Everything I do, I do for them. I decided to pursue real estate sales as a second career in order to give them a better life,” she says.

With over ten years' experience in the real estate industry, Shawna thoroughly enjoys  working with buyers and sellers. Specializing in both residential and commercial properties in Columbiana, Mahoning, Stark, and Trumbull counties, she is a member of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of REALTORS®, Ohio Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS®, and the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber.
